Complex Matrikines

Matrikines are small peptides naturally present in the skin from the skin repair process. These cell messengers able to regulate the sequence of events necessary for healing. With age, the formation of proteins, anchoring and cohesion of the dermis and dermo-epidermal junction decrease significantly. Such a complex can stimulate the synthesis of these proteins to recreate conditions conducive to cell and matrix turnover. This active repair skin damage related to age by two complementary approaches: first, protecting the papillary dermis photo-aging and secondly, by opposing the chronological aging. This is an effective cosmetic active in repairing the damage associated with aging and UV attacks at the papillary dermis. It helps in reverse chronological aging by reducing the depth and the area occupied by wrinkles, reducing roughness, decreasing the amount of Progerin (molecule of aging) and by increasing the skin tone.
